Short answer: On Vinted UK, standard items (clothes, shoes, bags, books, toys) can weigh up to 2 kg with InPost (64 × 38 × 41 cm), Evri (length + 2 × width + 2 × height up to 245 cm) or Royal Mail (61 × 46 × 46 cm). Heavy items such as consoles, children's furniture or rugs can go up to 15 kg with Evri and 20 kg with Royal Mail. Vinted picks the parcel size automatically from the listing details.

How Vinted UK picks your parcel size

Vinted selects the parcel size automatically from the details you give when listing, such as the category, the item size and the brand. Its Help Centre then lists a size and weight limit for each carrier: 2 kg for standard items with InPost, Evri and Royal Mail.

Heavy items follow different limits: up to 15 kg with Evri and up to 20 kg with Royal Mail. InPost is listed for standard items only.

Parcel too big or too heavy: what happens

According to Vinted, the carrier might ask you to pay extra or refuse your parcel if it is over the limits. And if your packed item is over the maximum size or weight for every available shipping option, you can't list it on Vinted.

Once the buyer has paid for the order and its shipping, the parcel size and carrier can't be changed. At an InPost locker you can pick another locker size on the screen, and at a parcel shop the staff can change the size on their side.

Measuring your parcel properly

Measure the parcel once it is packed and closed: the length is the longest side. Weigh it packed too, with the box, bubble wrap and tape.

For a bundle, Vinted asks you to put every item in the same parcel, and picks its size from the type and number of items.
