Who writes and who publishes

The content on vtdbot.com is written by the VTD BOT Team. We do not sign with the names of individuals: the author is always the team.

The site is published by VTD BOT, a sole proprietorship registered in France. You can reach us at contact@vtdbot.com. To see how the tool calculates its figures, read our methodology page.

Our sources, in order of preference

We start with the sources closest to the fact:

1. official Vinted pages: the help centre, the price list (pricelist) and the Terms and Conditions;
2. government bodies: impots.gouv.fr, service-public.fr, Légifrance and, depending on the country, HMRC or the IRS;
3. the public pages of tool publishers, for comparisons: a dated reading, with screenshots archived outside the site;
4. the aggregated data from our own robot, for the Vinted Barometer.

When an official source exists, it comes before everything else. A fact that rests on none of these sources is not published.

Checking and updating

Every fact carries its source and the date we consulted it. Comparisons are read again every month. A fact that can no longer be verified is removed the same day.

Each page shows its real update date, meaning the date its content was last reviewed, not a decorative one. The date shown is the date the content was last reviewed.

Comparisons: facts, not scores

Our comparisons rely only on facts read on the public pages of the publishers of the tools compared. We never add a score, an invented review or a speed comparison. Links to sources are nofollow.

VTD BOT is not neutral on these pages: it is our product, and we say so. That is why every claim about a competitor has to be traceable to its own public page.

What we do not publish

• No value per model: these values change every day and are only reliable when dated and recalculated inside the tool.
• No fake reviews and no invented testimonials.
• No statistic without a source: a number always has a source and a date, or it is not there.
• No promise of profit or speed.

Independence

We publish no sponsored content and have no paid links. We have no affiliation with Vinted or with the tools we compare.

The VTD BOT affiliate programme exists: users recommend VTD BOT. It funds no article.

Writing tools and corrections

Writing aids, including artificial intelligence, may be used to prepare a text. No text is published until its facts have been checked at the source.

If you spot a mistake, write to contact@vtdbot.com. A corrected fact is fixed directly on the page, with a new update date. We do not promise a response time.
